Conservation and Community
Desert & Delta Safaris are proudly assisting in preparing the community for their future roles as custodians of the conservancy project, initiated by the local community, in terms of enabling community based natural resource legislation. Our ongoing education and introduction to the immediate benefits of eco-tourism, rather than unsustainable depletion of the natural resources, have led to a new generation of environmentally conscious citizens. The Savanna Conservancy will be part of the proposed Trans-frontier Conservation Area.
