Safari in Botswana

Botswana is the ultimate safari experience. A safari in Botswana offers superb wildlife, vast untamed wilderness areas in private safari reserves, few tourists, amazing scenery and even large herds (though not as large as the migration herds in Kenya or Tanzania). Botswana's prime safari areas are the Okavango Delta, Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, Chobe National Park and the Makgadikgadi Pans.

Safari in Kenya
Kenya is the land where safaris first took place.  It is a land of great beauty and includes game reserves offering some of Africa's best wildlife viewing. The Masai Mara is home to the Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras - one of nature's most amazing spectacles. Other Kenya highlights include Amboseli National Park, Samburu National park, Mount Kenya, Tsavo National Park, Lake Nakuru, Lewa Wilderness and more.

Safari in Malawi
Malawi is well know for being "The warm Heart of Africa".  It is dominated by its lake - Lake Malawi - carved out as part of the Great Rift Valley and Africa's third largest lake and the focus of much of the country's tourism. Besides the lake with its colorful cichlid fishes, Malawi offers forest and montane reserves. While not in the same league as East Africa's savanna reserves, Malawi offers good game viewing in Liwonde National park, Nyika, Vwaza and Nkhotakota - all are easy and inexpensive to visit.

Safari in Mozambique
Mozambique is in many ways like two distinct countries split between southern and northern Mozambique. While the north of the country is almost untravelled, most travellers only visit the south coast, which is long established as a tourist destination with numerous beach resorts, delicious Portuguese cuisine and within a day's drive from Johannesburg. The south coast is beautiful and offers adventure in the sea including snorkelling, great diving and world-class game fishing off the coast.

Safari in Namibia
Namibia is a land of geological extremes and stark beauty.  It is a country of contrasts and open spaces, with the world's tallest sand dunes and some of the most isolated wilderness areas on earth.  There are also areas with Africa's big game, though not in large numbers. Namibia's prime safari areas are Etosha National Park, the Skeleton Coast, Sossusvlei and the Namib desert, and Damaraland.

Gorilla Trekking and Safaris in Rwanda
Experienced adventure travellers confirm that close encounters with mountain gorillas is one of Africa's most unforgettable experiences.  Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park is Rwanda's bid tourist draw and continues to grow in demand. Also on offer are chimp tracking in Nyungwe National Park and the little-known savanna reserve, Akagera National Park.

Vacation in Seychelles
The Republic of Seychelles comprises 115 islands occupying a land area of 455 km² in the western Indian Ocean. The Seychelles islands are blessed with a year-long warm, tropical climate and it's always a good time to visit, although different times of year may be better suited to your particular interests. The beaches are of legendary beauty and are the main reson to visit. While the Seychelles have become the playground of many of the rich and famous, a wide range of affordable, new and refurbished hotels, self-caterings and charming Creole guesthouses are joining the ranks of existing 5-star hotels and exclusive island retreats to offer memorable stays among welcoming Creole people and stunning natural surrounds.

Safari in South Africa
South Africa is known as "a world in one country".  It offers cultural diversity, natural beauty, warm, friendly people, and spectacular wildlife viewing. South Africa safaris provide a mix of "old" Africa and modern day photographic safaris. Its destinations are too numerous to name, but the most popular include Kruger National Park and the adjoining private game reserves, Cape Town and Cape Winelands, the Garden Route, and Madikwe Game Reserve.

Safari in Tanzania
When it comes to game viewing and amazing wildlife, Tanzania is almost without equal. Many of Africa's most romantic and sought-after destinations are within its borders - a virtual litany of places like Zanzibar, Mount Kilimanjaro, the Serengeti and its Great Migration, Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge, Lake Victoria, the Rift Valley, the Selous, Gombe and more. Tanzania should undoubtedly be on any safari lovers list as a must visit country.

Safari in Zambia
Zambia is the up and coming destination for wildlife safaris today.  It offers superb safari camps and wildlife viewing, remote bush camps and walking safaris, and lovely wilderness areas.  Zambia's prime safari destinations include the Luangwa River and its National Parks (South Luangwa & North Luangwa), Kafue National Park, and the Lower Zambezi area, including Victoria Falls.

Safari in Zimbabwe
In spite of its current political woes, Zimbabwe's northern wildlife areas and National Parks offer an excellent wildlife safari experience and the best value safari in Africa. Zimbabwe's most popular safari destinations are Hwange National Park, canoeing on the Zambezi river - a true adventure, Mana Pools National Park, and the Victoria Falls.
