EYES
ON AFRICA
About Us - Our African Safaris & Travel company
Eyes on Africa
was created with the vision of sharing the wonders of the African
continent with those who are eager to explore some of the world's most
magnificent areas...areas that combine pristine, natural beauty, incredible
wildlife, cultural diversity and remote, unspoiled and untamed wilderness.
If you want to experience the true
essence of Africa, then the big lodges filled with masses of tourists
are not for you. We, in conjunction with only the very best of our
local
African partners, are here to offer you large, remote, private
and exclusive concessions that cater to a minimal number of guests.
With
so few guests in such large unspoiled tracts of wilderness, the magical
feeling is unlike anything you are likely to ever experience.
Whether you want to plan the perfect
honeymoon, the daring African adventure holiday, the ultimate African
safari or a unique family vacation,
Africa offers it all. Eyes on Africa are here to offer you photographic
African safaris, eco tourism and adventure travel. All our trips are
tailor-made to our guests' specifications - so no two trips will ever
be alike.
Whatever your special interest, we have something that will meet your
needs.
We
do all the research, plan your itinerary, provide necessary information
and cover all details – all you need to do is pack your bag and
prepare for the African vacation of a lifetime.
Eyes on Africa is run by people who know
the African continent intimately, who have lived there and who
know the people and places. It is run by people who were born and raised
in Africa and who continue to return year after year - not only to refresh
their knowledge, but predominantly because of the love and passion that
they have for its areas.
Eyes on Africa is owned and managed by Nicky
Glover and James
Weis.

OUR PEOPLE
Nicky Glover
 Nicky,
who was born and raised in South Africa, has now found a way to combine
her love of nature and wildlife with her passion for the continent
of her birth. She has always excelled in the travel field and after
achieving top honours in her studies; she went on to work for Wild
Africa Safaris to gain valuable experience before moving on to a
more challenging position. She was pleased to find herself at Wilderness
Safaris, which is one of the leading African Safari operators in
Africa and naturally Eyes on Africa’s preferred
ground handler. Here she headed up a group of enthusiastic staff,
where her vibrant
and outgoing personality, along with her experience and first hand
knowledge of all camps and lodges succeeded in growing not only her
own team but also in turn the company.
Her enthusiasm and efficiency
will make your bookings and dealings with her a pleasure and will
ensure you truly appreciate and thoroughly enjoy your African adventure.
Her management of Eyes on Africa will give her the freedom to ensure
every effort will be for your convenience, enjoyment and hassle free
travel. |

Vanessa's work in corporate and leisure involved a variety of travel plans, from air and land, to cruises, to large corporate events. Through this experience, she learned how to effectively handle even the most demanding travel arrangements.
Longing to share her love of Africa, she joined Eyes on Africa and hasn't looked back. Like Nicky and James, Vanessa travels to Africa every year to visit properties and spend time on safari.
Whether it is a large group, a family with children or a couple seeking an adventure, Vanessa loves helping create what becomes for many of her clients, the trip of a lifetime. Pamela Langhoff
Pamela was born and raised in scenic Cape Town, South Africa. Her first experience with an African Safari was at the age of 16, when she traveled to Zimbabwe for a two-week safari adventure. Inspired then, she never imagined that her career path would lead her to more such magical adventures.
Pam has a real passion for travel, having lived on three continents and traveled throughout Europe, the US, and of course, Africa! She enjoys every aspect of African travel, from the diverse cultures, the sightseeing, adventure activities, wildlife and nature.
Pam is a real people’s person and she enjoys any social setting, loves music and one of her favorite pass times is "scrap-booking". However, Pam’s true passion is travel and, like the rest of the Eyes on Africa team, she travels home to Africa at least once per year to visit properties, go on safari and visit African villages.
Joining Eyes on Africa has fulfilled Pam’s dream of having a career that is rewarding, exciting, enjoyable and one that often changes people’s lives. Pam believes that once you experience the magic and adventure that Africa offers, your heart and soul will always yearn to go back! |
Marguerite Smit
“Children born under the African sun will always return to this continent. We may travel far and journey wide, but Africa is in our blood, it runs through our veins, beckoning us to return to this vast land filled with warmth and beauty..”- ms
Marguerite was born and raised in the Garden Route region of South Africa's Western Cape and she has always had a great love for the outdoors. Whether it is swimming, hiking, mountain biking, bungi jumping or being amongst creatures – big or small, this is when she truly feels happy and at home.

You may leave Africa, but Africa will
never leave you!

has to offer you.
