GORILLA MOUNTAIN VIEW LODGE - VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK, RWANDA
Gorilla Mountain View Lodge is set at the foot of the Virunga Mountain range surrounded by beautiful gardens and view of the volcano summit. The lodge is located close to the main headquarters of Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park making it a good base from which to explore the Virunga Mountains and organize trekking to see the Mountain gorillas and Golden monkeys.

The Gorilla Mountain View Lodge has 20 individual cottages constructed out of brick and tile. The cottages are big, with plain plastered walls but comfortably furnished. Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Due to the altitude, it can get cold, however each of the cottages has a fire in the room (wood and charcoal provided on request). The lodge grounds are well maintained and have beautiful views of the volcanoes. The lodge has electricity and hot water that is supplied by a generator, which does not run all day.
Dining
The main area has a basic bar and a restaurant. It can get quite chilly in the winter so dress warmly for dinners during the winter months.
Activities
Activities includes Gorilla and Golden Monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park. Visits to local villages and cultural excursions are also on offer.
