BABOON
TROOPS have a complex social structure and
watching them is always entertaining. On
an early morning game drive, we encountered
a
troop descending from their night-time roosts
high in the trees. We stopped to watch
the youngsters playing and chasing while the
adults sleepily yawned and stretched, trying
to wake up. These two were so comfortable
in the warm morning sun that they dozed off
again... Sometimes it's good to be a baboon. |
