Dining and
Cuisine
Chef Tony Koeke's resumé is charted in the pages of his passport.
Trained in Berlin, his career took him from London's Dorchester Hotel,
to
the Royal Hotel in Durban, the Durban Gentleman's Club, back to Harry's
Bar in London and then back to Berlin again as the personal chef
to the British Ambassador. The Commodore beguiled him into retracing
his footsteps once again.
At the Clipper Restaurant, Tony prepares
delectable seafood specialities, with a focus on line and shellfish,
all fresh from the Atlantic. Your meal will
be delightfully complemented with any one of the Commodore House's
Wine Collection. The Clipper offers a buffet
breakfast, à la
carte menu and light menu for the not-so-hungry. Take advantage of Cape Town's fine weather and delight in the sweeping
view from the Terrace. Here light meals are available between 10h00 -
20h00.
The Cocktail Bar is open 24 hours.

As
its name fittingly suggests, Cape Town more resembles a quaint town
