Cape Grace has 121 Guest Rooms and 8 different room categories.

There are guest rooms for non-smokers, satellite TV, and complimentary overnight shoe shine. All rooms include terrycloth bathrobes, slippers, hairdryers and Charlotre Rhys toiletries. Rooms also include international plug points and fax/Internet modem lines. Maid service is provided twice daily and there are fully stocked mini bars in every room.

The rich tapestry of colors, well-stocked bookshelves (selected from local book stores & private collections) and numerous works of local art and historic prints create a warm & relaxing atmosphere.   The Library is perfectly suited to a casual read, nap next to the fire (has been known to happen!) or an informal meeting.
 
Our progressive food concept encourages guests to dine wherever they choose within the hotel, whether it’s champagne & oysters in the library, or an unhurried degustation meal paired with superb wines in your suite.  In addition, Food and Beverage Liaisons customize guests’ gastronomic needs by tailor-making gourmet experiences.
 
Pool Terrace

In line with the hotel’s passion to surprise and delight, the Spa at Cape Grace offers a tranquil environment of African influence treatments.
 
Located at the southern end of the building, on the top floor, The Spa offers magnificent views overlooking Table Mountain, the city and yacht marina, with treatment rooms opening to the outdoors.
 
With Cape Town being the midway point of the spice trade route between Europe and the East from the early part of the 15th century, The Spa at Cape Grace will reflect this culture and color in its décor and ambience. Interiors reflect the warm oranges, deep browns and golden hues associated with the romance of hot and colorful spices.

Entertainment options include a DVD library, the Cartoon Network, storytelling and games in the Library, gingerbread men painting, books and special Birthday, Easter & Christmas celebrations.
 
We will gladly arrange a babysitter for Mom & Dad, while we spoil them to a romantic dinner in Signal restaurant or evening out on the town. Our contracted babysitters have been screened.

Bascule is home to the largest whisky selection in the Southern Hemisphere, with approximately 400 single malts & bourbons, and a Vinothèque Barmen passionate about whisky will assist you in your discovery of new & unexpected flavors. In fact, should you be eager to discover more about this ‘water of life’; consider a private whisky tasting hosted in the Bascule lounge.
Complementary flavors such as Scottish Salmon, local blue cheese & dark chocolate truffles (Chef’s secret recipe) bring whisky to life on this journey of discovery!
 
This unique bar boasts whiskies from Scotland, to the USA to Japan, and includes a rare bottle of 50-year-old Glenfiddich. Whisky connoisseurs are invited to store their whisky bottles in Bascule in private cabinets.
 
Bascule also offers an extensive wine cellar – the Vinothèque.    Wine connoisseurs, private collectors and companies are invited to store their wines in private bins in the Vinothèque temperature and humidity-controlled cellar. The cellar can hold over 8,800 bottles of wine.
