HELICOPTER TOURS Depart your hotel for the helicopter base in the V&A Waterfront where you board a helicopter for a flight starting with spectacular views over Table Bay and Robben Island.
Continue past the Twelve Apostles Mountains towards Hout Bay fishing harbour. From here, your flight passes the majestic Chapman's Peak drive and the vast sweep of Noordhoek beach and the seaside village of Kommetjie.
Next comes the beautiful coastline leading up to Scarborough and the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park. Admire the rocky outcrop of the most south-westerly point of Africa - the Cape of Good Hope. Sir Francis Drake described the region as "the fairest cape in all the circumference of the earth" and his love for this Cape is shared by most who see it.
The helicopter touches down on the False Bay coastline, on the east side of the Peninsula, where your guide awaits you. Visit a colony of African penguins - the only penguins to breed on the African continent.
Enjoy a superb lunch at a seaside restaurant then visit the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, renowned for its vast array of indigenous plant species. Return to the city along the east side of Table Mountain.
