PENINSULA WITH CYCLING (Private Full-Day Tour)
Depart Cape Town by vehicle to Boulders Beach near Simonstown to visit the African (Jackass) Penguin colony.

Kitted out with bikes, cycle on down the coastal road to Miller’s Point and Smitswinkel Bay (weather permitting) and continue into the Cape of Good Hope National Park. Here, cycle through the various areas of the park, with the chance to see endemic animals like Cape Mountain Zebra and Bontebok, birds and unique indigenous fynbos plants.

Take in the spectacular views across False Bay, with views south to Cape Point as we continue to the south westernmost point of the African continent, the historic Cape of Good Hope and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch at one of its beaches (weather dependent).

Leaving the reserve by vehicle, return to pedal power as we ride past the nearby Ostrich Farm, passing vineyards on to the hamlet of Scarborough and along the coastal road to the town of Kommetjie.

Enjoy the spectacular views across Long Beach, before transferring to vehicle again for a final scenic drive over the dizzying heights of the famous Chapman’s Peak pass, passing the fishing village of Hout Bay and the seaside suburbs of the Atlantic coastline en route to the city.

* Note: Depending on weather/wind conditions, this trip may operate in the reverse direction.
