Days 1 - 2; (2 Nights)
Okavango Delta;  Land-based Safari Camp
Jump to Okavango Delta Safari Camps

Cheetah cubs seen at a land-based safari camp in Botswana's Okavango DeltaOn arrival in Maun, you clear customs and then meet up with a safari representative. You then board a light aircraft for an air transfer to the camp of your choice - and enjoy the twice-daily activities on offer at the camp.

The land-based camps in the Delta offer game drives and walking (at certain camps) in some of the Okavango's most scenic and private areas.   These camps offer better opportunities to see some of the larger herbivores in their herds - i.e., zebra, buffalo, giraffe, impala, kudu, etc.

Days 3 - 4; (2 Nights)
Okavango Delta;  Water-based Safari Camp
Jump to Okavango Delta Safari Camps

Guest on a mokoro at a water-based camp in the Okavango DeltaFrom your camp, you generally enjoy the last morning's game drive and are then flown to your next camp, where you are met by your guide and transferred to camp in open 4x4 Land Rovers.

In order to get a true Delta experience, we recommend a visit to 2 different Okavango camps; one which is more water-based for mokoro (traditional canoes) safaris, boating, fishing and water-based wildlife.  Some of the "Delta specials", such as water-dependent antelopes like the Sitatunga and Red Lechwe are found in the permanent water areas.  Birding is also superb here.

Days 5 - 7; (3 Nights)
Linyanti / Selinda / Kwando safari camp
            Jump to Linyanti Safari Camps

Elephants in from of Savuti Camp in the Linyanti Reserve of BotswanaFrom your Okavango camp, you generally enjoy the last morning's game drive and are then flown to your next camp to the north in the Linyanti / Selinda / Kwando section of norther Botswana.

These areas provide guests with a different wildlife experience - the areas are well-known for habitats much preferred by elephants, lions and wild dogs.  The Linyanti River flows along Botswana's northern border and eastward where it connects with the Chobe river and eventually the Zambezi.  The Savuti channel also originates in this area and it, combined with the river provide diverse habitats, making the area a superb wildlife viewing environment.  Birding along the river is also excellent.

Activities are enjoyed around the Savuti Channel or Linyanti River on boats, vehicles or from hides.

Day 8; (1 Night)
Victoria Falls (Livingstone, Zambia or Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe)
Jump to Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls from the airGuests are flown from their camp to Kasane where they board vehicles for 85km drive to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

On arrival, guests are checked into their hotel on a bed and breakfast basis, leaving them free to eat where they please and take in any of the wonderful activities available in the falls.  A tour of the Falls and an evening sunset cruise on the river are included.

You might want to sign up for white water rafting, elephant back riding, a helicopter flight over the Falls, etc, or you may want to enjoy the area at a more leisurely pace; in this case, you will need to book into the Falls for two nights.

Hotels to choose from include the Victoria Falls Hotel, The Stanley & Livingstone, for those who seek a bit more privacy, The River Club, which is situated across the river in Zambia, as well as several others.

Day 9
