Ker & Downey safari camps, safari lodge and hotels - 10 nights / 11 days (Itinerary #2)
Gabarone, Okavango Delta and

The itinerary includes a visit to Gabarone, the home of the book's central character, with a full-day tour of this bustling Botswana city, including sights and locations from the novels.
The adventure then moves to Botswana's prime wildlife locations - the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve. You will stay in exclusive safari camps in the Okavango Delta, including one of the few safari camps located within the boundaries of the Moremi Game Reserve.
The trip concludes with 2 days to explore Livingstone and see the incredible Victoria Falls. Safari camps and lodges are owned and operated by Ker & Downey.

Shinde is an island paradise in the northern part of the Delta. Located at the edge of a lagoon, it is surrounded by clear waterways that flow over yellow sands and past palm-fringed islands teeming with birdlife and game.
Shinde is a photographer's delight. Its remoteness has ensured that the wildlife here has not been subject to the ravages of tourist pressure and is still innocent and unafraid. Various members of the antelope family, including the elusive sitatunga, whose elongated and splayed hooves enable it to walk on the unstable beds of reeds, especially favour the island.
The well-equipped Delta craft will take you on an interesting trip to Gadikwe Island, where you will see a fascinating breeding colony of herons, egrets, pelicans, cormorants and storks. Your guide will arrange walks, show you insects, a wide variety of birdlife and animals. You may also wish to match your skills against the renowned fighting tiger fish, bream and pike.
Shinde's plentiful game and the silent waters of the Okavango combine to make your stay a rare experience indeed.
