ILALA LODGE - VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE
The perfect platform from which to explore the Natural Wonder of the majestic Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls accommodation at Ilala Lodge provides distinguished yet affordable accommodation in a gracious and secluded ambiance.

Ilala Lodge is ideally situated on the Zimbabwean side of the falls and is the closest hotel to the Victoria Falls as well as the Vic Falls town centre. Wild animals often graze on the hotel lawns with the spray of the falls in the background.

Ilala Lodge offers distinguished yet affordable accommodation in warm elegant surroundings. The decor evokes an era of early adventure and the quest for discovery in Africa. The Lodge is ideally situated being the closest to the mighty Victoria falls as well as the town centre. The National Park borders the front of the property and wild animals often graze on the hotel lawns, with the spray of the falls in the background.

Ilala Lodge offers 32 standard rooms and 2 deluxe suites. All rooms have en suite bathroom with separate shower, air conditioning, overhead fan, satellite TV and have individual coffee and tea facilities. The rooms are spacious with railway sleeper teak furnishings and patio doors leading onto either open lawn or a balcony where you are afforded a view of the spray of the falls from the upper level rooms.

All standard rooms at Ilala Lodge have got 2 x ¾ beds in a spacious room that is decorated by railway teak. Each room has got an en-suite bathroom all with complimentary soaps, shampoos and conditioners. The bathroom comes standard with bath, shower and toilet. Standard in each room is an airconditioning unit that ensures guests have a cool retreat to relax in from the heat of the day and overhead is a fan if it is needed. There are french doors in each room that open up to a communal garden. Bottled water is provided for in each of the rooms as well as a kettle for the tea and coffee provided. There is ample build-in closet space and a safe to lock away valuables.

Deluxe suites are styled in exactly the same way as the standard suites, with railway teak desks and décor, but they all have a king size bed in each suite. They all have got an ensuite bathroom with shower, bath and toilet in all the suites. Each suite has got a balcony where guests can enjoy some quiet time on the comfortable chairs. There is a coffee and tea station provided along with the bottled water. These suites are bigger than the standard rooms and are more intimate that the standard rooms.

We also have a Pool and cocktail bar that is a sure winner for any end of any day. So come dine with us and taste the real meaning of luxury.

A warm welcome awaits you at our world class a la carte Palm Restaurant, where breakfast lunch and dinner is served daily. We offer superb cuisine while you relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the gracious surrounds. Dining outside under the African night sky amidst the sound of the mighty waterfall makes for an unforgettably romantic evening.

Activities
Victoria Falls has a lot to offer the visitor and is known as Africa's adventure capital. From high adrenalin activities like bungi jumping and white water rafting to more sedate pastimes like fishing or elephant back safaris, Victoria Falls has it all.

Zambezi Wildlife Safaris
White water rafting, river boarding, jet boat trips above and below the falls, horse rides, walk with the lions, golf, bush walks, game drives, day and overnight trips to Chobe (Botswana) and Hwange National Park, falls tours, village tours, bungi jumping, gorge swinging, elephant back safaris, helicopter and fixed wing scenic flights over the falls, microlight flights, fishing, bush dinners, canoe safaris and more...

CROC FARM AND NATURE SANCTUARY
Visit the crocodile farm and get to see how we rear these reptiles from eggs to full adult crocodiles. The eggs hatch in about December or January. Feeding times are a highlight and are recommend taking a guided tour with one of the experienced guides. Feeding time is at 10.15am to 10.30am and 3.45pm to 4.00pm daily. The nature sanctuary has many species of interesting animals such as lion, leopard and ostrich and there is a full leather workshop which sells its goods on site.
