Zibalianja Camp
ZIBALIANJA CAMP - SELINDA RESERVE,
BOTSWANA
Zibalianja Camp is located in the Selinda Reserve,
on the western side of Zibalianja Lagoon, overlooking open floodplains.
The Selinda Reserve joins the Okavango Delta with the Linyanti/Kwando
waterways, the river systems close to the eastern boundary of Chobe National
Park. The Reserve follows the Selinda Spillway, a dry river that connects
the Okavango to the Chobe River. The Spillway flows only in years of high
floods and high rainfall. The Selinda, covers some 1350 square kilometres.
The camps are small and personal, where only a handful of guests can experience
a big game safari in the finest African tradition. Zibalianja Camp is
owned and operated by Seba Safaris/Selinda Reserve and is the sister camp to
Selinda Camp, also located nearby in The Selinda.
Zibalianja (also sometimes spelled Zibadianja) is a derivative meaning
"the Place of the Wild Dog" in the Sesubiya language of northern
Botswana.
UPDATE:
Zibalianja Camp is being re-built in a new location as a Premiere Camp. More info here:
