ZIBALIANJA CAMP - SELINDA RESERVE, BOTSWANA
Zibalianja Camp is located in the Selinda Reserve, on the western side of Zibalianja Lagoon, overlooking open floodplains. The Selinda Reserve joins the Okavango Delta with the Linyanti/Kwando waterways, the river systems close to the eastern boundary of Chobe National Park. The Reserve follows the Selinda Spillway, a dry river that connects the Okavango to the Chobe River. The Spillway flows only in years of high floods and high rainfall. The Selinda, covers some 1350 square kilometres. The camps are small and personal, where only a handful of guests can experience a big game safari in the finest African tradition. Zibalianja Camp is owned and operated by Seba Safaris/Selinda Reserve and is the sister camp to Selinda Camp, also located nearby in The Selinda. Zibalianja (also sometimes spelled Zibadianja) is a derivative meaning "the Place of the Wild Dog" in the Sesubiya language of northern Botswana.

UPDATE: Zibalianja Camp is being re-built in a new location as a Premiere Camp.  More info here:

The camp provides accommodation for 6 guests only. Each of the 3 twin-bedded, Meru style tents has en-suite facilities, solar lighting and heating. The tents are built on raised wooden platforms with fly sheet and shade net cover and offer bathrooms with fully integrated modern facilities. Each tent has its own, small raised verandah. Camp facilities include a mess dining and lounge tent, campfire and a fireside bar. There is a viewing deck for magnificent views over the plains. Daily laundry services are included.

Activities
Activities include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, as well as night drives with spotlights. The camp also offers occasional bush dinners. Short walks with fully qualified guides either from camp or on drives are highly recommended. At certain times of the year, guests may enjoy boating and fishing on the lagoon. As a special activity, every full moon, guests have an opportunity to take part in the camp's monthly game counts.

Please also consider the Selinda Walking Trails if you enjoy walking in wildlife areas. The trails guides are considered to be some of the best in Africa.

Wildlife
The Selinda area has excellent game viewing and guests can hope to enjoy good sightings of Elephant, Lion, Wild Dog as well as all the plains game. Specialist guiding increases the chance of seeing all the area's large predators as well as excellent wildlife interactions. Night drives produce an abundance of nocturnal species. The area has excellent birdlife and varied vegetation, which is best viewed in the summer between October and April.
